ex. TOTEM SKIN!!! Dödsrit is a project created by Christoffer Öster from TOTEM SKIN. Dödsrit tries to blend atmospheric black metal with the rawness from crust. The writing for Dödsrit started right after Totem Skin had recorded their last album "Weltschmerz" . And was conducted for almost two years before it saw the light of the day.
Dödsritt shivering melodies were created in the deep forests in the outskirts of Borlänge, Sweden. Conducted by Christoffer Öster from Totem Skin who poured every drop of passion he could harvest from the bottom of his heart. "this same titeled LP is the band’s 1st full-length. The soundscape of the album ranges from raw aggression to doomy heaviness and unsettling guitar melodies. The vocals create an honest and desperate atmosphere, the vocalists screaming themes of nature and problems in life. Intense grinding shares space with quiet and reverent moments, but the sonic landscape is always filled with emotion.

Las Casas Viejas are a six piece epic-atmospheric rock band, hailing from Austria and Germany, featuring members of LA LIGNE MAGINOT and FAKE EMPIRE. Drawing influence from postrock, sludge, doom and blackmetal.
This is an immensely complex band, lyrically and musically. Peeling this back like an onion reveals a mixture of down-tuned hardcore punk with seriously dark metallic overtones and atmospheric textures piercing through waves of thick reverb. Lyrical overtones paint a bleak existential foray into the decay of society, poetic without sounding contrived, and are well translated from the native Austrian-inflected German.
  

Mother - Through This Disappearing Land LP

MOTHER (ex-Thema 11) where easily one of the most unique and influential bands out there. Continuing the evolution that started with "THEMA ELEVEN", this LP establishes the band's embrace of a more melodic "post"-sound. "Through This Disappearing Land" is more concerned with texture, using a sense of sparse minimalism and repetition to achieve gradual, swelling impact. Tracks frequently stretch out and need their time to unfold and develop into epic soundscapes. The distorted guitars are augmented with thundering drums as the harsh vocals paint images of nomadic cultures and cracked earth under a burning sky. In other words, a classic. Fans of brilliant, emotive, progressive music (hardcore, metal or otherwise) must have this one. 

Toundra - II 2xLP

Meine Fresse, was für ein Hammer ist bitte die neue TOUNDRA DLP?! Gerade nach ihrem erstes Meisterwerk waren wir schon hin und weg. Aber das übertrifft alles! Vergleiche stinken und sind immer maßlos übertrieben, doch auch wenn Toundra vereinzelt langsame Songs einfliessen lassen, teilweise auch mit Cello und Klavier, so wird auch wieder das Gaspedal durchgetreten und es klingt so, als würden Kyuss und Russian Circles zu einer genialen Band verschmelzen, ohne wie die meisten anderen Bands ohne Rock stundenlang auf faden Riffs rumzudaddeln. Mal wieder eine instrumentale Band über die keiner redet, aber die locker fast alles an ähnlicher Mucke lockerst und jederzeit an die Wand spielt. Fürs Fans von Ocean bis Explosions in the Sky ein Muss. Danke nach Madrid!
