Pressing Details 4th Press: 300x limited colored Vinyl and 700x black Vinylthe second instalment of The Warren of Snares trilogy from this fantastic band. To say the guys had moved on from their original sound is somewhat of an understatement. It was a bold musical change, as they had become such standard bearers of the UK/European crust punk ‘scene’ in such a short amount of time, via Owsla. Three mammoth 20+ minute tracks made up the record mixing their old sound with far more progressive metal & doom elements.
PRE-ORDER!!! Release date approximately mid December 2025Pressing Details (8th Pressing): 20x Test pressing, 200x transparent with black splatter, 200x white with black corona vinyl and 600x black, 180gram, 380gram cover, double-sided A2 Poster. NEW Artwork from Alex CF!Fucking hell, this is one of the best records I got my hands since it was first released back in the days! Hard hitting, yet melodic and epic crusty HCpunk with a Cello and throaty vocal style from Brighton UK. They really know how to create a desperate and aggressive athmosphere at the same time. This band delivers their music with a lot of variation in speed which makes the songs memorable and entertaining which is hardly the case nowadays. Lyrix based upon the book "Watership Down" - Awesome!
Pressing Details Reissue: 250x limited colored Vinyl and 750x black Vinyl, Etching on Side B, heavy Vinyl, Insert, Artwork by Alex CF 'Tharn' (meaning 'fear') is a single-track remix release of 'Dominion Theology' taken from their latest album 'Elil', but feels more like a teaser for new material from Brighton's Fall of Efrafa. Paper Aeroplane, the remix masters at work here have turned what is a harsh and bleak track and infused it with piano, cello and a sense of post-rock pleasantries. Their wording of this in release material as a 're-imagining' of the track, although a stomach-churning term, in this case is accurate. Taking sections of guitar and sections of the relentless heaviness and turning it into almost a soundtrack-like piece of music is a great way to manipulate and show off FoE's grandeur in a way they had obviously not thought of before. it was released on 300 one-sided LPs with a beautiful screen-printed b-side, this release is sold out since a super long time, which shows you how fast word travels on a fantastic band.
Big time instrumental emo (circa 1994-style) complete with piano and a cello to round out a well developed and executed piece of music. Gruff, yelled vocals make a brief appearance after a l...o...n...g calm and help usher things into more of a concerted song - yes, song, singular. The one songed, one-sided 12" has a beautifully screened B-side that does not play music. The side that does is comprised mostly of singular instruments slowly coalescing and ultimately reaching a crescendo of epic...ness. Dreary, emotional, and made for certain rainy nights alone, this is bringing me back to sad days in high school. Apparently known in some circles of heavyier music, FALL OF EFRAFA has taken a piece of music originally done by PAPER AEROPLANE and given it their personal touch of eloquence. For fans of GOSPEL, DROWNING WITH OUR ANCHORS, and MINERAL.
Uff!
“When we got the word a new group had been assembled out of the ashes of some serious past hitters, we knew the result would be just as thick with fury and power as their previous outfits. Portland, Oregon’s new all-star team in the atmospheric metal arena is @_felsenmirror_ , uniting crushers from the likes of Augurs, Usnea, and Atriarch just to name a few. Just when you thought the Pacific Northwest extreme metal scene was in a recession, the torch bearers make a prodigal return with plenty of genuine novel sonic territory to explore and exploit. The album is one continuous block, a concept encapsulating the stages of grief, only to once again wind up at the last stage of acceptance and all it has to offer. The passages ebb and flow with the aid of violin with as exactly as much anticipation for the next shattering riff sequence thoroughly wiping the slate clean before reminding us of the annihilating pain that can all but extinguish us on this side of the grass. The drumming is exquisite in execution and far more dynamic than your average stoner doom, which is even more surprising when you realize the vocalist screaming his head off and drummer are the same person. This album leaves no dark metal motif unexamined and is a paramount testament to the region’s past two decades of esoteric, star-gazing, nature freaks that get the fuck down with gravely horrendous aural landscapes. Check the album out here and keep an eye out for more from these harsh visionaries.” (Lilian Void, CVLT NATION)
It's been a while but finally four years after their split 7" with Geraniüm (France) and their 'Hexis' 12", here's a new record by FINISTERRE. Their sound has developed quite a bit and moved from the mid-tempo D-Beat/Crust more towards Dark Hardcore with hints of Postpunk. It's a diverse record. Each of these eight songs stands for itself. Manuela's brutal but charasmatic vocals are deep, political and radical. Telling stories of anger and hope. Musically shaped and grown over the years, they play a unique and damn exciting blend of dark melancholy post-hardcore, heavy d-beat and dark crustpunk, incredibly direct and intense. Finisterre are not one of this faceless d-beat-cover-bands, they found their really own sound and are playing in a league with the good and important bands of this genre like Fall of Efrafa, Alpinist or Tragedy. Hardcore with a crust edge, varied and dark. It took a while, but i was definetly worth the wait.
A matter close to the heart: "Vorderwasser", the debut and at the same time the Best of record (2014-2018) of fisco from the shoals of the province of Lower Saxony. Not from Hamburg, no scene, only charm! Emopunk for people who love bands like DUESENJAEGER, DER TRICK IST ZU ATMEN....
Beware! They are poisoned! Hard riding crust powered swedish käng with cynical view about this shitty world. Förgiftad is here with their debut album "Skit Ska Skit Ha". If you like old good Totalitär or Herätys but with more heavy sound you can’t miss this vinyl masterpiece. With members from Makabert Fynd, Passiv Dödshjälp and Vengeance of Karma.
USA-IMPORT!!! The Departure of Consciousness is the debut full length album from American doomsters Fórn. With the sheer heaviness of Conan weighed down further by ten tonnes of despondency, it's a devastatingly melancholic album of crushing doom. "Fórn play riffs so heavy they feel like they can't be lifted from the floor, much like bands such as Winter or Conan, but with barbarity rarely this visceral."
Repressed! Classic Swedish D-beat/ hardcore with the more wieldy rock influences. Its not punk-rock though, or at-least not by my understanding, because its soul deep in Scandipunk territory, calling it punk rock would diminish too much of what it is in favour of too little of what it really defines it. By my calculations if you can bend your minds to think of something like Wolfbrigade by way of Poison Idea you shouldn't be too far off the margin. For fans of Disfear, Motorhead, Martyrdod, Wolfbrigade.

The 2nd album from the legendary From Ashes Rise available on special edition vinyl. Remastered by FAR guitarist: Brad Boatright. 11 searing tracks of ultra-intense, ripping HARD FUCKING CORE! Stoughton printing single pocket tip-on jacket. OBI with liner notes.
Formed in early 2013, Funerary came to pass by the adherence of five souls looking to coagulate in depression, grief, and anger. Finding solace in dwindling light, the band creates a musical presence that is powerful and progressive in the realm of doom metal by combining what can only be described as cosmic, transcending songs ridden with despair and indignity.
G-ANX was a legendary Hardcore, Punk, Grindcore band from Sweden, the band roughly existed from 1983 / 1984 till 1992, saddly they are still on hiatus, but some members are playing in the Doom, Crust band COUNTERBLAST. Early G-ANX stuff sounded more like Punk, Punk Rock but later it changed into aggressive, fast Hardcore, Grind style, sudden tempo changes, great melodies, tragic "ballads" and even some few Reggae influences made (and still make) this band outstanding amongst all this "legendary" Eighties / Early Nineties Punk, Hardcore, Crust bands.
The incomplete discography that includes the bands vinyl output (three full EP's, the split EP with FILTHY CHRISTIANS), two songs that already have been released on the "Flashbacks" CD and eleven bonus songs taken from various demos / rehearsal sessions recorded from 1984 - 1986.
Relapse Records is proud to announce the first ever fully-authorized reissue of GISM’s landmark debut LP, Detestation. Originally released in 1983, Detestation has since remained one of the most innovative, bewildering, extreme, and wildly influential albums in the punk and metal canon. To say Destestation was ahead of its time would be a huge understatement–it incorporated elements from so many genres: hardcore, punk, heavy metal, glam, thrash, industrial, and experimental. It was almost as if listeners didn’t know what to do with the record’s music but gravitated to it nonetheless as they recognized it was something unique and special.Maximum Rocknroll’s Jay Bentley’s 1984 review of Detestation made that sentiment clear, describing the record as “Churning Metal- punk, or perhaps even speed-metal, depending on where you draw the distinction. GISM are undoubtebly a heavy metal band who’ve been heavily influenced by hardcore, but the music is so intense and the vocals so ominous that even Im in a state of shock. These guys make VENOM sound like the KNACK, especially on side 1.
Hurray ! Bordeaux D-beat veteran are back with « Chape de Plomb » their third full length. After nearly 12 years of hyperactivity these punks still have so many things to say and so many riffs to blow you away. GASMASK TERRÖR carry on playing the urgent and straightfoward d-beat punk you love so much. This new album contains 11 songs made of rage and passion, the band has never sounded so good on a record before. Expect the same intensity as the way they sound live. For the first the whole lyrics are written in French, describing the world as it is ; bitter and disillusioned.
Debut album from Malmö d-beaters. Loud and noisy crasher mangel crusty punk from Malmö Sweden. Genöme makes a follow up to their ”The Sound Of Loud Ringing In The Ear – tape” this time with some changes within the band that can be noticed in a good way. As a new bassplayer has taken control of the noise it’s been a more distincts way of bringing out the wall of thundernoise. The satisfying and chaotic combination of the mental drumming, noisy guitar and furious vocals makes this a full on mad and powerfull follow up. This wont dissapoint you crasher noise crusters out there.
GERANIÜM from Strasbourg/Besancon (France) celebrate their 10th year anniversary this autumn and take this opportunity to bring us their second full length album called “fear is the enemy”. Even though there had been some lineup changes, they stick to their unique style: A dark blend of Crust, 90s Screamo and Black Metal. With giving the songs room to develop, they create a soundscape of anger and despair. You could name ALPINIST, FINGERPRINT or MADAME GERMAN as musical influences, but I guess if you’re more or less into dark and blackened Hardcore you’ve heard about this band from France anyway. The Record comes in a huge three foldout screenprinted Cover.
Pressing Details: 250x white + 750 x black Vinyl, download code, 180gram Vinyl, Massiv silk screened fold out coverGERANIÜM from Strassbourg / France is inspired by a new wave of progessive dark HC bands like ALPINIST or DOWNFALL OF GAIA, they take a further step and mix this inspiration with the sound of 90s french HC such as FINGERPRINT and elements of EKKAIA. Hammering drums, aggressive & strident vocals, sharp guitar riffs & melodies. Their songs show that this band is capable of composing beyond the path of sheer brutality, blending in smooth interludes and interesting bass lines along the way.LINK from Belgium create melancholic atmospheres above heavy tunes and dark lyrics. Their brooding brand of hardcore crust runs deep pulling a compounding sound of Although it’s hard to put a label on the music, they just call it ‘dark and epic crust’. The music is what they like to hear and what they like to play. Without compromises. Link have been stalwarts of Belgium and European hardcore/crust scene for many years and for those unfamiliar Link are firmly with in the ground fans of His Hero Is Gone, Bacchus and From Ashes Rise.
A sequel of Italian doom/sludge story, that we all’ve been waiting for. This is a début long play album from Ghost Empire after taking part in “The Stranglers” compilation released by Choking Hazard Records. This is severe monolith sound that slowly runs into each cell of your body. Uncompromisingly strong doom/sludge which’s monolith (with no lack of originality) is carried to absolute. The atmosphere of rage that is not reachable for common sense makes you remember of Fleshpress, Haarp, Corrupted. The album contents 11 minute doom/drone track released only on vinyl version of the album.
Ghost Empire new album review:
"The first bolt of impressions that strikes on hearing the first riffs of the Ghost Empire LP is two words - Japan and Finland! (in one boiling tar) Though the Italians don't have much in common with the monsters of Corrupted and Fleshpress, but when it comes to tempo and how powerfully and monotonously this threesome attacks the instruments and the listener, these bands are surely alike in the delivery of their material. A slow and unhurried bulldozer, that later starts to take it's pace a bit and the tempo hastens. The bulldozer's slow movement is accompanied with a rather specific vocal work for sludge/doom genre. Think of an ex-hardcore singer that has fucked up straight edge plus all the sub genre activities, and after a night in a ditch with a terrible hangover is filled with primitive hatred that makes him loaded and ready to test the teeth of laypeople with a rusty spade.
On the LP you won't find these caustic and bilious sounds and voice as you may have heard on records by Noothgrush, Leechmilk or Dystopia. Here the Italian guys do not spit despair and anger, they just spew sterile and boiled aggression. If you want some more vivid comparisons. Deal! You get it! Bare in mind the UK fuckers like Black Sun, Moloch and Charger, but don't be confused Ghost Empire has nothing to deal with industrial like Black Sun or crust/punk like Charger, here is a monolithic and crushing piece of sludge doom metal, cooked with a peculiar passion in the lands of macaroni and Adriano Celentano. The material is too catchy and heavy to miss it!
Definitely for fans of Iron Monkey, Charger, Moloch, Black Sun, Corrupted, Indian, Frogskin, Haarp, Fleshpress. ALL TOGETHER!
If you want your teeth and bones safe and sound, better stay the fuck away!"
There was a time when there was no way around GLASSES. I think everyone who’ve been involved in the European hardcore scene around the year 2010 was totally blown away by their furious fast Hardcore Punk and their excessive live shows. In the short time of four years they recorded two 12” Records and a split 7” with Comadre, which they shared the tour van not only at one occasion. Formed by (ex-)members of Trainwreck, The F.A, Perth Express and The 244GL they brought together the passion for dark and crushing Hardcore with a good sense of metal infused still driving riffing, heavy drumming and powerful vocals. With vocalists Sam moving to the US it became a bit quiet around the band in the last years. During the months of the pandemic they started being creative again, writing and recording new stuff. Contraszt! Records is excited to the bone to release their complete musical output – now remastered and remixed as “Compendium” on heavy double 180gr. 12” vinyl with stunning new artwork by Samantha Muljat. Remastered by Brad Boatright and Remixed by David Deutsch
Glemsel (Forgetfulness) is another Danish band to put on your list and their debut album “Unavngivet” (Untitled) as well. The album is released through Vendetta Records, who seem to have their attention towards Danmark for some reason. The vocals are harsh, quite raw, or grim, and the lyrics are in Danish. Could be described as “typical” black metal vocals, and by that in my case, it is something that is good. When it comes to the music it’s melodic and quite raw from time to time, there are progressive parts as well here and there, and that makes it more interesting to listen. There are parts that are quite fast and intense, but there are also parts that are a bit slower, or mid-tempo. There is a nice, grim, cold atmosphere over the whole album that should appeal to many fans of this type of music. To say that Glemsel and “Unavngivet” sound “typical” Danish would be wrong, a more correct definition would be to describe it as Scandinavian, a little old-school but yet quite modern.
