On this nice platter 2 friendly bands team up. The 7min. long track, by Austrian's post-hardcore trio I NOT DANCE is a small foretaste of the forthcoming full-length. Sounding intense and heavy as always they tried to expand their musical scope while still staying true to their original roots. Breaking with their own troubled past year I NOT DANCE, pays tribute to a close friend and processes his farewell. In any case, how the song came about shows that passion and cohesion always come first and their mates from BLCKWVS would probably agree. German instrumental BLCKWVS developed their own style of instrumental music over the last couple years. From post-rock influenced delay driven guitar work to heavy, dirge and nihilistic sludge and doom infected bulldozer-rock. The track on this split (from the same recording session as their upcoming "0150" full-length) is really dark and heavy, somewhat reminiscent of really droney and heavy CULT OF LUNA and ISIS. Instead of altering those heavy parts with quiet parts like the aforementioned bands, BLCKWVS decides to strictly play those dark and heavy riffs throughout the song. This really differs from the sound of lots of bands. Vinyl comes with beautiful fold-out cover-packaging and includes a digital download card.
Two bands that are again really close to us RIVERS RUN DRY and DRIP OF LIES...together they made a split which we are really excited about! RIVERS RUN DRY from Hungary makes atmospeheric dark hardcore in the veins of Catharsis. DRIP OF LIES from Poland takes you back to those times when From Ashes Rise was still cool..good bands, amazing split!!!

The guitar interplay with the electronics during the long, methodical building process is spot on. the next vocal section is utterly downtrodden - perfect for the music which has sort of a NEUROSIS/SOULS AT ZERO being dismantled feel. the music has a real elastic quality here with the slow drum count, the jangly guitars and the flopping bass string tone. nothing but high praise from me on this song!!!

APOCALYPSE are crust legends from Los Angeles formed in 1984 who managed to record a demo, a 7”EP entitled “Earth” and two split singles with TRANSGRESSION and MINDROT. Yacopsae deliver a sharp smasher called "Plakativ Korrekt" in the vein of their "Fuck Punk Rock"-era. Deep, from Augsburg, are doing a cool Yacöpsae-cover ("Blind"). The band is an old pop/noise-project of two members of the German punk band Inferno.
3 new songs packed with no-nonsense, nasty and distorted poliical hardcore following the Dutch tradition. Oust is a band with 5 individuals that know eachother for years trough the magical world of DIY punk bands. We are based in Amsterdam and Nijmegen but one of our guitarist decided to live in Rome which is quite far away.We all played in bands before, there is a good chance we met somewhere before :) There is plenty of stuff to be angry about these days and we like to put that energy in our music, we do not believe in happy endings or a good outcome we are going straight into the abyss. That doesnt mean we love to play the music we play, playing shows and meeting our friends that we've met in all these years touring trough Europe and beyond is the reason that these things work. We started out as a very basic straight forward dbeat band but as those things go music evolves and we might get weirder and weirder by the day. We do like to stick close to our crusty hardcore souls and I guess you can hear that. We released a tape that was later re-released by our good friend Jos on beautiful creamy white vinyl, this year we will release an EP trough Sabotage and Autoreverse, we missed playing and being part of our loved community a lot during the covid-times. We are very excited to play shows again and hopefully start touring again in 2022. Into the abyss! OUST
